Petcurean Secures Top Dog Sponsorship
The Northwest Spay and Neuter Center welcomes Petcurean as a Top Dog sponsor for our 15th annual fundraising event, Whiskers, Wine & Dine.
Petcurean, a premium pet food manufacturer based in Canada, adheres to the philosophy of putting pets first, and that belief is core to every decision it makes – from formulating recipes to identifying ingredient suppliers. Believing our furry friends deserve the very best when it comes to food, all Petcurean recipes are developed by a team of qualified and passionate nutritionists. Led by Dr. Jennifer Adolphe, who has a rare and coveted Ph.D. in companion animal nutrition, the team expertly crafts recipes designed to meet the needs of dogs and cats of all different shapes, sizes, backgrounds and ages.
In addition to a focus on animal nutrition, Petcurean is equally focused on supporting animal welfare agencies, including rescues and shelters throughout the U.S. and Canada. In 2018 alone, Petcurean donated more than 52,000 pounds of food to animal rescue groups, and also offers animal adoption kits through select independent retail partners to help provide pets and their new parents with a fresh start. Campaigns, such as the company’s Uplift the Underdog or Undercat contests, help raise awareness for deserving animals in shelters that are often overlooked due to health issues, age or other reasons. And several employees, such as Christine Mallier, PR & Community Relations Manager pictured above/below, are also committed to animal rescue on a personal level and partake in volunteer work outside of business hours.
