New Look, New Experience, Same Great Organization

Back for our 16th year of fun and fundraising, the 2019 Whiskers, Wine & Dine Event is locked in for Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the McGavick Conference Center on the Clover Park Technical College campus. Our 2018 event raised over $125,000 to help prevent animal overpopulation and we are setting our sights high on a $250,000 goal in 2019.

We’re also offering more this year – for our sponsors and our guests – in order to highlight the incredible support we receive from our community. Sponsors will benefit from a vibrant and sophisticated new look and feel for the event, a dedicated event website, and targeted marketing that will increase visibility for our supporters. Sponsors will receive direct engagement with more than 6,000 Facebook followers, 4,000 email subscribers, and 400 event guests – all of whom are instrumental in the South Sound community and bring a passion for animals.

“This year, we’re excited to take things to the next level for our sponsors, supporters, guests and staff. We want this experience to be memorable for everyone involved so we can continue the important work we do for the cats and dogs in our community,”  said Melanie Rushforth, Executive Director.

At the event, guests will enjoy mingling with their fellow animal lovers, sample wine and spirits and sit down for a delicious plated vegetarian meal from the award-winning team at Jonz Catering. Entertainment and live auction experiences will be facilitated by the famous Emcee and Auctioneer, Shelby Stokes and there will be opportunities to take home a variety of items ranging from an extravagant African safari horse riding lessons and a behind the scenes tour of the Purrfect Pals Cat Sanctuary in Arlington. You won’t want to miss this fun evening supporting a great cause!
