Any special needs for your pet will be written on their discharge instructions. Please read these instructions carefully.
Restrict your pet’s activity for 7–10 days — no running or jumping.
Do not change your pet’s diet during recovery time.
Do not give your pet a bath for 7–10 days. Keep your pet in a clean, dry environment during this time.
Check the incision twice a day for redness (some redness is normal), swelling, or discharge; if you find any of these symptoms please contact us.

Your pet will have a small green tattoo near the incision. Click here and scroll down to see a picture of the tattoo. (This is not an additional incision.)
There are stitches under the skin that do not need to be removed. In addition, there is a blue-green, water-soluble tissue glue that will come off with time.
If your pet received any vaccines or other services they will be marked on the pink sheet that was sent home with you at pick-up.
